How we assess your business
We assess your business through a combination of in person discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions, plus our own desk based research and analysis of available market and competitive data.
Ahead of the discovery sessions, we will work with you to agree a meeting plan so that we can gather information from the founders, executive and wider team as well as provide you with a mutual NDA (non-disclosure agreement) that protects your intellectual property and ours.
We may request access to various items including: product and technical information, your CRM and other systems, copies of business plans, customer contracts and other commercial information to help us understand your technology and GTM plans. During the assessment, you will have access to the confidential and secure SUM Client Portal, which will enable us to collaborate with you and share documents.
We conduct a thorough assessment, based on the SUM Framework, to ensure that we identify all factors impacting your GTM. Areas that we assess include product market fit and product roadmap, messaging, TAM and ICP, competitive analysis, product pricing, value based selling, building pipeline, GTM team structures and compensation, GTM systems and processes, GTM motions, alliances, qualification, forecasting, deal structures, and customer success.
Whilst we gather information, make observations and analyse your current status against the SUM Framework, we will also be building a set of ideas for changing your current approach as well as new ideas to scale up your business.
