
How We Engage
Your GTM partner for the long term
We understand that time and money are valuable resources for scaling tech companies and we hope to be your GTM partner for the long term. We therefore approach our GTM Solution engagements with as much clarity and transparency as possible, respecting both your time and budget.
Our approach for company founders or exec teams seeking GTM Solutions or consulting support is as follows:
- Discovery meeting
- Our first meeting is always free of charge. We will meet with you to understand your objectives and outline the GTM areas that we can help with.
- Request a GTM Assessment
- If you wish to proceed, please request a GTM Assessment and we will send over our Assessment Terms, including a mutual Non Disclosure Agreement, for you to sign and return.
- GTM Assessment
- We will carry out a GTM Assessment. Our aim is to gather as much data as possible about factors impacting your GTM so that we can make recommendations.
- Depending on your growth stage, this may include further meetings with the founders and wider team, product and technical information, analysis of any existing GTM data, systems or processes and additional information that we can obtain, with your consent.
- During the Assessment, you will have access to the confidential and secure SUM Client Portal, which will enable us to collaborate with you and share documents.
- GTM Assessment Report and Action Plan
- Following the GTM Assessment, we will provide you with a report detailing our findings and recommendations in accordance with the SUM Framework.
- The report will also identify the GTM Solution that we believe best meets your needs, including an outline of the proposed scope of work and deliverables required from both parties, plus clear estimates for timelines and costs so you have a comprehensive view of the road ahead.
- Meeting to discuss and agree scope of the GTM Solution
- We will meet with you to discuss the findings of the GTM Assessment and proposal for implementing the GTM Solution.
- We will ask for your input on any changes or reprioritisation of the deliverables and provide you with a revised proposal and quotation if necessary.
- Agree GTM Solution terms
- If you decide to move forward, we will send you either the GTM Solution Contract or the GTMaaS Contract—whichever you choose—to review, sign and return.
- Work will commence once we receive payment of the initial invoice. For GTMaaS engagements, fees are paid monthly in advance, while GTM Solution projects require an initial payment followed by milestone payments.
- Delivery of the GTM Solution
- Throughout the project we stay in close, regular contact, holding scheduled progress meetings and issuing monthly reports that track deliverables, targets and milestones.
- You will have continuous access to the Client Portal, including GTM BOS, for real-time visibility into our work.
- Any adjustments are managed through a structured change-control process, and the engagement concludes with a comprehensive handover to ensure a smooth transition.
- Ongoing support
- Our engagement doesn’t stop here. If you require further help, you can access support either as an extension of the GTM Solution or GTMaaS engagement, or in a fractional capacity with one of our GTM specialists.
